The RIBCOR series is all about having a stick that is easier to load and more efficient at generating power for your shot. The quick release of the stick comes from the low kick point, while still providing excellent control and accuracy from the optimized Ascent blade.

CCM engineers took the use of ribs to the next level with PopMatrix technology. PopMatrix consists of carbon fibers which are permanently in tension due to the unique geometry through the taper of the shaft. Instead of using multiple smaller ribs that were featured on the Ribcor 40K, CCM used a single concave rib on the Reckoner. This means that less effort is required to load the fibers of the shaft because they are already preloaded which results in a load, release, and feel unlike any other on the market. The performance fibers that are in the rib are protected by the outer layer composed of protective fibers.

The Reckoner uses high quality carbon fiber throughout the entirety of the stick. The orientation of the fibers creates the High Power Taper Ratio, which means that it has a stiffer top and bottom in relation to the front and back of the shaft, resulting in less twisting on shots and more direct power transfer. The intermediate and junior shafts use a more contoured geometry with rounded corners for a better fit in smaller hands.

For even more durability, Technora Aramid Fiber makes its return in the Reckoner to reinforce the shaft. Technora is a patented, synthetic fiber that has been trusted and used in the automotive and aerospace industries for years. The same material used in parachutes, body armor, and jet engines now reinforces the shaft of the Reckoner, resulting in a new level of durability and ensuring the pop game in and game out.

Moving down to the blade, a new Ascent blade is not only lighter than its predecessor the SXX2 blade, but has also been optimized to provide great feel due to its softer heel and a quick release due to the constant increase in stiffness from the heel to the toe of the blade.
