CCM introduces its brand-new RBZ line of goal skates, fitted with the all-new Prolite G cowling, providing goalies with “freakishly” fast movements in the crease and making it even harder for pucks to get in the net.
The CCM RBZ 80 goal skate is centered around an all-new Vectorwear surlyn, providing a highly reactive outer shell that is fully heat moldable. This surlyn provides significant support to the boot while remaining a value alternative to a full composite outer. Ankle padding is constructed of high density Poron memory foam, offering a snug fit with maximum comfort. Additionally, the skate features a Pro reinforced heat moldable EPP foam core, maximizing foot reaction speed and long term durability. Lastly, the liner is fully constructed of a heavy duty microfiber, providing a good balance between durability and comfort.
The all-new Prolite G cowling has been completely redesigned to cater specifically to a goalie’s needs and optimize every last bit of skill available. The cowling is engineered from a minimalist perspective, allowing for a both lightweight and high-performing final product. New for the Prolite G, the cowling has been raised off the ice, allowing the goalie to achieve maximum blade attack angle for explosive pushes. The cowling is complimented with fiberglass impact inserts for support as well as a rubber toe cap impact area for energy dispersion.
